Ondula

Ondula Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026.

Ondula ("we") makes a GLP-1 medication tracking app. Ondula is published by Insinova Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17069980), 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. This policy explains what data the app handles and why.

Data that stays on your phone

Your medication, doses, injection sites, weights, side effects, meals, water and settings are stored only in the app's local database on your device. We do not receive or store them. Deleting the app, or using Settings → Delete all data, removes them.

Meal photos

When you choose to scan a meal, the photo is resized on your phone and sent over an encrypted connection to our server, which forwards it through OpenRouter (an AI model gateway) to Google's Gemini model to estimate the food and its nutrition. We do not store the photo after the estimate is returned. OpenRouter and Google process it only to answer the request, under their API terms, and may keep request logs for a limited period to detect abuse. They do not use it to train models. Meal scanning only runs when you start it.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) and managed through RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase history so we can tell whether Ondula Pro is active. We never see your payment details.

Notifications

Dose reminders are scheduled locally on your device. We do not use push notification servers.

What we don't do

No advertising, no ad tracking, no selling or sharing of data, no analytics SDKs, no account required.

Children

Ondula is not intended for anyone under 18.

Your rights

Because health data stays on your device, you control it directly. For questions about meal-scan or purchase data, contact us at [email protected]. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK you may also contact your data protection authority.

Changes

We will post changes to this page and update the date above.
